Provide Constituency Input

April 5, 2024

Each year, Laramie County School District Number One develops a consolidated grant request for federal funds. Part of this grant development process requires that we solicit input from constituents who are affected by the implementation of the federal programs funded by this grant.

You are invited to be a member of the group providing constituency input. This input opportunity will take place on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. or 4:30 p.m.to 6:00 p.m.  Both meetings will be the same, so constituents may choose one or the other.  The meetings will be held on the third floor, in the LCSD1 Training Center, at 2810 House Avenue.  At this meeting, we will review the following grants:

  • Title I-A (Support for school populations that meet the criteria through Free and Reduced lunch eligibility)

  • Title I-D (Support for Neglected and Delinquent student populations)

  • Title II-A (Professional Staff Development)

  • Title III (Support for students who are learning to speak English as an additional language)

  • Title IV (Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants)

  • Perkins (Career and Vocational)

  • IDEA Part B (Assistance for education of all students with disabilities)

  • McKinney-Vento

We would like to have a broad base of representation for all programs and would greatly appreciate your input.  Thank you, in advance, for your time to help guide the formation of our new Consolidated Grant.

Sincerely,

Eric Jackson
