Laramie County School District 1 worked with stakeholders to pinpoint areas of focus for the strategic plan. As a district, we understand the importance of input from our community, staff and students as we continually improve the education of our children.

South Triad Community
During the South Triad Community Meeting, strategic planning committee members were available to answer questions community members had about the strategic planning process.

Stakeholders continued to meet through the spring of 2022 to discuss the themes and goals of the Strategic Plan. They focused on the areas of opportunity and work to improve the education our students are receiving.

On December 1, 2021, stakeholder feedback was shared with the district’s operations and facilities departments, association leaders and district administration. As themes are developed members of these groups are invited to participate in the process.

Triad Community Meetings

During the Triad Community Meetings, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Margaret Crespo and strategic planning committee members were available to answer questions community members had about the strategic planning process.  Stakeholders were able to view the strategic planning draft matrix which shows the emerging themes and ideas that emerged included an emphasis on communication, developing healthy relationships within the community, student achievement and readiness, and development of clear processes.
