On November 12, 2021, District stakeholders met to review survey information gathered by MGT Consulting Group and through Superintendent Dr. Margaret Crespo’s 100-Day Plan.

Stakeholders will continue to meet through the spring of 2022 to discuss the themes and goals of the Strategic Plan. They will focus on the areas of opportunity and work to improve the education our students are receiving.

Since July 2021, district leadership has worked with stakeholders to pinpoint areas of focus for strategic planning updates. As a district, we understand the importance of input from our community, staff and students as we continually improve the education of our children.

Laramie County School District 1 is in the process of developing a new Strategic Plan, which will guide the district for the next five years. We have received feedback from 1,768 parents/families, 1,260 employees, 239 high school students and 281 community members to create this exciting, dynamic plan. Please check back frequently as we share updates on our progress. We are working to ensure today’s learners are tomorrow’s leaders and that ours is a district in which students get to choose their future.
