Title 1 Pre-Kindergarten
LCSD1 Title I Pre-Kindergarten Program
Laramie County School District 1 offers no charge Pre-Kindergarten services to children 4-5 years of age residing in a Title I school boundary. Children must be 4 years old by August 1st to be enrolled in the 4-5 year old class.
Pre-Kindergarten classes will be held at the following schools. To be eligible for services, the family must reside in the boundary of the school offering a Pre-K program.
Alta Vista Elementary
Parents must visit their home school to begin the registration process. You must show proof of residency, provide a birth certificate and shot records.
Please note that transportation is not provided. Limited space is available for the LCSD1 Title I Pre-Kindergarten Program. For more information please call your home school listed above.

Pre-K children will have the opportunity to experience, explore, and engage in a safe and nurturing environment that will enable them to learn, grow, and develop into successful and competent learners.

During your child’s day you can expect them to be engaged in child-centered and teacher guided exploration in the following content areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Social Emotional. Our Pre-Kindergarten curriculum is aligned with our district’s kindergarten through twelfth grade guaranteed and viable curriculum.
