District Overview

Laramie County School District 1 covers 1,592 square miles in southeast Wyoming and includes three rural elementary schools, 26 city elementary schools, three junior high schools, three high schools, one alternative high school and a charter school. Approximately 2,200 staff members serve more than 14,000 students—working each and every day to ensure they receive a high quality education in a safe and orderly environment inspiring them to become lifelong learners and responsible, productive citizens.
