District Overview

Laramie County School District 1 covers 1,592 square miles in southeast Wyoming and includes three rural elementary schools, 27 urban elementary schools, one charter elementary school, one charter secondary school, three junior high schools, three high schools, one alternative high school. Approximately 2,300 staff members serve more than 13,000 students—working each and every day to ensure they receive a high-quality education in a safe and orderly environment inspiring them to become lifelong learners and responsible, productive citizens.
