Dec. 15—Megan Keen

Megan Keen, a senior at Central High School, was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Dec. 15.
Keen was selected for being a well-rounded student. She maintains a high GPA while challenging herself with advanced placement and concurrent enrollment classes.
She is involved in DECA, Science National Honor Society, the Finance and Investing Club and the spirit team at Central. Additionally, she supports community events such as Cheyenne Frontier Days parades and 5K fundraising races. She works part-time for the Cheyenne Latchkey Program.
Following graduation, Keen plans to attend college to major in nursing and become a nurse practitioner. She has taken a variety of health care and early childhood classes in preparation for this.
Keen selected Mari Eisenhart as her favorite teacher because of she is patient and takes time to help students.
