This line should say "All substitute teachers must have a valid Wyoming substitute teacher permit or valid teaching license.
 

• Complete the LCSD1 employment application in SchoolSpring AND:
   
• Obtain a Wyoming Substitute Permit Or hold a valid Wyoming Teaching License.
• To obtain a Substitute Permit apply at the Professional Teaching Standards Board, Emerson Building, 2001 Capitol Ave Room 128, Cheyenne, WY 82002, 307-777-7291. 
• (They can apply online, but I'm not sure where you want to include that here! They'll still need the address because I think the fingerprint cards need to be dropped off in person) 
• They will require: 
  • Application for substitute permit
  • Official transcripts from your graduating college/university
  • Wyoming History or constitution requirement (For Certification). Wyoming and US constitution quiz (study guides can be found online at the PTSB website)
  • Fingerprinting
  • Fee: $50 for fingerprinting, $75 for permit, total of $125 (paid to PTSB).

Substitute permits are issued by the Professional Teaching Standards Board and are renewable every five (5) years.

Information needed to submit an application, need transcripts, a resume, and their sub permit to apply.  You can also add cover letters and other supplemental information, but the resume, permit, and transcripts are the only required pieces.

• After LCSD1 receives your substitute Permit/Certification and screen applications, you will be contacted to complete the following forms:
   
  • W-4 form.
     
  • Employment Eligibility Verification, Form I-9 (Please have two (2) forms of ID - drivers license, birth certificate, passport, Social Security Card, etc.) Copy of transcripts (The substitute Office will accept a photocopy). Reference letters. Consent to Release of CPS Files.
     
• Substitute Permits/Certifications are issued by the Professional Teaching Standards Board and are renewable every five (5) years.
