- Brand New Families to our District
- Emergency request for unavoidable, unforeseeable, irreplicable circumstances
Families must provide their own transportation to and from school. Violation of school rules, suspension or persistent tardies and/or absences will be grounds for revoking or denying boundary waivers.
K-12 waiver process:
- Prekindergarten students are not eligible for boundary waivers
- One request per school year per student
- Address verification at any school or submitted with your online registration and Online registration must be completed before boundary waiver submission
- Students who currently have a boundary waiver and move during the school year may remain at their existing school for the remainder of the school year or move to their new school
- Waivers are not official until both principals and the Boundary Waiver Committee have approved the request.
- Fresh Start—Prior to consideration, problem-solving with school administration must be attempted.
- Programs—A waiver may be offered for students to attend programs offered only at specific schools with available space. Students should remain in good standing, otherwise waiver may be forfeited.
- District employees—Requests are granted on a space-available basis for parent(s)/guardian(s) who are district employees and work in the requested buildings.
- Grades 9-12 only: Varsity competition may be suspended for up to a year, for either approved waivers and/or forfeited waivers. (WHSAA Regulation 6.4 Visit the Wyoming High School Athletics Association website)
