Jan. 19—Saphearya Brownson

Saphearya Brownson, a senior at Triumph High School, was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Jan. 19.
Brownson was recognized for her consistent effort in the classroom. She is known for always arriving at school with a smile on her face and maintaining an upbeat attitude.
Brownson actively participates in her classes and ensures that all her work is completed and turned in. She will graduate at the end of the quarter and plans to attend Job Corps to pursue a career in the culinary field. She has also expressed an interest in continuing her passion for singing.
Brownson was a member of Triumph’s volleyball team this year, where she consistently worked to improve her skills. She was often the first to offer positive encouragement to others and served as a supportive presence on the team.
Additionally, Brownson participated in Triumph’s talent contest this year, where she won after performing a song that left a lasting impression on the audience.
Brownson selected Dave Martin as her favorite teacher because he has been supportive and encouraging as she prepares to graduate.
