May 18—Baiden Kuntz

Baiden Kuntz, an eighth grade student at Johnson Junior High, was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of May 18.
Kuntz was selected for his positive attitude, reliable attendance and growth throughout the school year.
According to Johnson Principal Aaron Moon, Kuntz has grown in leaps and bounds over the past year and continues to make progress academically and personally.
He is known for his sense of humor and for consistently doing the right thing. He has become more independent and confident in the classroom, with staff noting strong growth in his skills as a student.
In his free time, Kuntz enjoys basketball and football.
Kuntz selected math teacher Ivan Perry as his favorite teacher because math is his favorite subject and Perry makes it easy for him to complete his work. Kuntz said Perry is understanding when he struggles with an answer and is someone he relates to well.
