Karen Low, the assistant head custodian at South High School, has been selected for the Board Employee Spotlight for the month of October. She was recognized on Monday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. in the Storey Gym Boardroom, 2811 House Ave. 

Low is known for her leadership and dedication. In the absence of the head custodian, she fulfills those responsibilities, setting a high standard for the custodial team. 

“Her strong work ethic, technical skills and ability to coach and motivate others have earned her respect of staff, students and administrators alike,” Custodial Services Supervisor Michael Kimmel said.
