Alta Vista Elementary fifth grader Samuel Ragle was recently recognized as the Kindest Kid in the World and was presented with a book written about his acts of kindness.
He is the first student in Wyoming to be honored with this award and was chosen for always showing kindness and including others, inside and outside of the classroom.
One story in Ragle’s book states that he loves to play football, and if someone is hurt on the field, he is always the first to check on them. According to the book, Ragle believes helping people matters more than finishing first and he chooses to be kind every day.
A surprise celebration was held during which Jessie Hansen, Kindest Kid in the World spokesperson, visited Alta Vista to speak to the school about spreading kindness. She shared stories and examples of how to be kind to one another and challenged the school to show 5,000 acts of kindness.Alta Vista Elementary fifth grader Samuel Ragle was recently recognized as the Kindest Kid in the World and was presented with a book written about his acts of kindness.
