This year, Mrs. Flock’s first grade class paraded down the streets and took turns ringing doorbells. Every time someone answered the door, the students shouted, “Happy May Day.” They delivered Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax-themed bags, which included a homemade Truffula Tree and a packet of seeds.

Flock said people look forward to this every year, and it has been a special tradition for the Deming community.
