Public Comment on Proposed Policy Chapter 8 Section 12

Notice is hereby given that members of the Board of Trustees of Laramie County School District Number One, State of Wyoming declare their intention to amend Board Policies Chapter 8 Section 12, Seclusion, Restraint, Forcible Physical Contact and Corporal Punishment of its Policy manual. The proposed amendments bring our policy up to date with W.S. §21-3-110(a)(xxxi) and Wyoming Chapter 42 Rule “Seclusion and Restraint in Schools.” Potential changes to Policies can be reviewed on the Board’s webpage at this link  Board Policyhttps://go.boarddocs.com/wy/laramie1/Board.nsf/Public  or at the Admin Building, located at 2810 House Avenue at Door #1.

Public comments will be accepted until September 19, 2025, at 4 p.m. online or via email to  Rebecca.Gill@laramie1.org .

Action will be taken at the October 6, 2025, Regular Board meeting at LCSD1, 2811 House Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82001.
